How do I add related products?

Go to the Product Mapping tab, select a product, and click Setup Product. From there, search by name or SKU to attach related items.

Can I create more than one list for a product?

Yes. Use the Groups tab to create multiple groups such as “Accessories,” “Replacement Parts,” or “Upgrades.” Each product can have items organized into one or more groups.

What’s the difference between this and the default Related Products widget in BigCommerce?

The default widget is automatic and limited in flexibility. The Epic Parts and Accessories app lets you create multiple custom lists, control group names, and decide exactly how and where they display on your product pages.

How do I install the widget on my product page?

In the Configuration tab, copy the HTML snippet provided. Then edit your product page template (templates/pages/product.html) in BigCommerce and paste the code where you want the lists to appear.

Can I change how the lists look?

Yes. In the Configuration tab, you can switch between grid or list view, adjust header text size, and change header text color.

Will this app slow down my site?

No. The app is lightweight and designed to run efficiently without adding unnecessary code bloat.

Can I rename the group headings that display on my product page?

Yes. Simply edit the group name in the Groups tab, save your changes, and refresh your store to see the update.

Do I need to know code to use this app?

No coding is required except for pasting the one-time HTML snippet into your product page template. After that, everything is managed inside the app.

What if I make a mistake attaching products?

In the Product Mapping tab, you can remove any items that don’t belong with a single click.
